Roughly 20 years ago I began my personal leadership achievement journey. I became a student…in a plethora of classes, trainings, seminars and the like…looking for insights, tools, and ways of looking at my life and my career in a new light. I was young, and I was eager and hungry to learn. I was a “human sponge” if you will…looking to soak up as much wisdom from the great thought leaders as I possibly could. That was half my life ago. Little did I know then that the journey I was embarking upon would soon become the cornerstone of not just my career, but my way of being. I became a personal success and achievement junkie. And I am proud to say, I still am one. And by far, these have been the most valuable decisions and investments I have made. I just simply said “yes” to every opportunity to learn from other leaders, that came my way. I began investing in myself 20 years ago, and that investment has paid itself back countless times…emotionally, financially, physically, spiritually…you name it. So that begs the question…why? Why do I love personal and professional development, and why have I dedicated my professional life to building a company that teaches and trains others how to utilize these tools and live BIG? Because it works. It’s as simple as that. I have learned from the very best, and by doing so, I have gotten to know myself really, REALLY well. I know what my purpose is. I know what I am passionate about. I know my values and beliefs. I know what I stand for, and what I will fight for. And I also know, without a shadow of a doubt, that had I not invested in my own best asset, myself, over these last two decades, I wouldn’t have made it through some of the downright crazy cards that I have been dealt. And I know I am not alone. I know there are countless others that are still searching for more. More clarity. More freedom. More passion. More money. More patience. More energy. More focus. More drive. More motivation. More balance. Just….more. I have a toolbox that is chock full of skills, resources, ideas and attitudes that serve me constantly…daily…hourly. And I want, and need, to share these tools. Because for me, I know I have learned what I have learned not just to help myself, but to empower and serve others. Last year, 2012, brought about a lot of unexpected changes, but as life oftentimes goes, I saw yet again, that change is good and necessary. Sometimes, oftentimes, it is that major change that must happen in order for true greatness to emerge. I am ecstatic about what lies ahead. This new year is off to a roaring start, and from the feedback we receive and the look on our graduates faces, we know that what we do not only matters, but is crucial, in order to help new leaders emerge. If you haven’t attended a “U & Improved” training yet, may I STRONGLY encourage you to say “yes”, like I did 20 years ago, and make a commitment and promise to yourself that you are worth it. The benefits and dividends you will receive are priceless. And what you can do moving forward, is endless. With gratitude and admiration, Jodi
