U & Improved is honored to announce the recipients of three generous full scholarships to U The Teen Leader donated by, The Miksta Team at VIP Mortgage, the William and Doreen Wong Foundation and an anonymous donor. All of the submissions are more than deserving of the experience of this class which made choosing just 3 very difficult. In order to be as fair as possible to all entries each essay was made anonymous and then reviewed and voted on by the U & Improved Staff and the Ambassador Council Committee Chairs. Congratulations to the following teens that are awarded a FULL scholarship to U The Teen Leader: Janet Freeman Nahleesha McGee Bryn Hart In addition to the three full scholarships U & Improved is also giving three $1000 scholarships to go towards attending U The Teen Leader. The recipients for these partial scholarships were determined through the same anonymous process as our full scholarship recipients. Congratulations to the the following teens that are awarded each $1000 scholarship towards U The Teen Leader: Elena Bornacini Ilene Villa Golden Abby Ouellette Congratulations to all six of the U THE TEEN LEADER scholarship recipients and to each and every teen attending this powerful training! The U THE TEEN LEADER program focuses on the brilliance that’s already inside of you by learning to tap into your own strengths, skills and abilities. This training is about experience, NOT about lectures! This interactive program takes place over 2.5 days where you will engage in more than 20 different exercises and activities to help you learn, grow and improve. We apply techniques based upon leadership development, neuroscience, and empowerment to allow you to grow to your own next level. Who can attend? This interactive training is designed for students in high school, aged 14 to 18. This class will help with college, job interviews, career decisions and all areas of developing positive life-long habits!
